Harlequin’s So You Think You Can Write Online Conference & Writing Contest Starts Monday

by Amy Wilkins, Harlequin Digital

It’s almost here! Harlequin Mills & Boon’s week-long online writing conference and writing contest So You Think You Can Write starts Monday!

Our editors in Toronto, New York, the UK and Australia are joining forces for a series of posts and interactive events (including live chats, blog posts, forum discussions, videos and Twitter chats) all about how to write an amazing romance novel and get published by Harlequin. There will be a ton of great tips and opportunities to ask your burning questions to over 50 editors from a variety of Harlequin series including our paranormal romance line, Harlequin Nocturne.

And if you’re ready to submit your romance novel, don’t miss the SYTYCW writing contest! Readers will also play a key role in the contest by voting on their favorite entries to select the first round of finalists and later voting on the grand prize winner, who will get a publishing contract. For more information about the contest, click here.

Be sure to check out soyouthinkyoucanwrite.com Monday morning for the start of the online conference and to see the full calendar of events and information about the contest. For updates on SYTYCW both during the week and the writing contest, follow @sytycwglobal on Twitter and the hashtag #sytycw2012. You can also chat with your fellow participants on the SYTYCW Facebook page.
