Counting Down to ALPHA with Rachel Vincent

by Amy Wilkins, Harlequin Digital

Did you know we’re 77 days away from the last Shifters novel by Rachel Vincent? A bittersweet milestone for such an anticipated book! Alpha, the sixth and final Shifters, hits shelves (and ebook stores) in North America on September 28, 2010.

Rachel Vincent has created a widget to countdown to the release date…and here it is! If you’re a fan of the series, please grab your own code for your blog, website, Facebook page, Twitter, etc. (there is code available for all kinds of sites) to help us celebrate!

And to tease you a little further, here is the back cover blurb for Alpha:

YOU’VE GOT TO HAVE FAYTHE…

The unscrupulous new Council chair has charged Jace, Marc and me with trespassing, kidnapping, murder and treason. Yeah, we’ve been busy. But now it’s time to take justice into our own hands. We must avenge my brother’s death and carve out the rot at the heart of the Council.

It’s not going to be easy, and loss seems unavoidable, but I have promised to protect my Pride, no matter what. With a target on my back and Marc at my side, I’m heading for a final showdown that can—that will—change everything forever. A showdown I’m not sure I’m ready for.

But life never waits until you’re ready.

Are you looking forward to Alpha?
